Talk Therapy: Talking to Improve

In the struggle to combat eating disorders of “talk therapy” are the most commonly being used today? A study by the American Journal of Psychiatry revealed that it is through this type of therapy that people seek to release their obsessive feelings.
During the investigation conducted in England, studied the behavior of 154 persons in whom one could see great improvement by participating in “talk therapy.”
This type of therapy is based on a series of counseling sessions in which guides you to being able to identify the relationship between their emotions and behaviors.
Treatment involves the participation of 20 sessions of 50 minutes, to be held once a week. The study found that patients had significant improvements, and not suffered a relapse in the various disorders suffered. (more…)
